The Tech Story

The Cleveland RTZ wedge represents a significant advancement in wedge technology, designed to enhance feel, spin, and versatility. Constructed with Z-Alloy, a revolutionary carbon steel formula, the RTZ delivers exceptional feel and forgiveness while increasing durability. The innovative HydraZip face technology utilizes a unique system of face blasts and laser-milled lines, optimized for each loft, to maximize spin performance in all conditions, especially wet ones. ZipCore technology, a low-density core situated in the heel and hosel, repositions the Center of Gravity closer to the impact zone, promoting higher MOI for improved control and forgiveness. UltiZip grooves, sharper and deeper than previous generations, enhance spin consistency by efficiently channeling away grass and debris. The RTZ also introduces the versatile ADAPT grind with full-face grooves, providing exceptional greenside control and shot-making options. With a variety of grind options, including LOW, MID, and FULL, golfers can personalize their wedge setup to match their swing and course conditions, achieving optimal short game performance.
